Is there a way, or could future updates make it so that only certain GMs can see certain GM only posts? I say this as I use the Adventure Log to detail the happenings of past sessions and use the GM section to list off loot that hasn't been identified yet as well as any notes of characters/plots etc I need to remember for upcoming games, but now we've decided to start up a second campaign with new characters in the same world run by one of my players. By promoting him to Co-GM he'll be able to see all these notes. Is this something others have dealt with or am I making something out of nothing?

Hey everybody,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to reformat the calendar tab, or alter the parameters of it (month names, number of days, etc.).
I've been toying around with the idea of my setting's calendars, and I thought it would be a great piece of immersion if I could make the Calendar page fit my setting instead of the real world.

If there is a way to create multiple calendar pages, that would be even more awesome. Possibly even a public calendar and a private one?

I know the alternative is likely a bunch of hard coding, but the idea just struck me and I felt I had to get it out there.

Our pages are meant for logging our adventures , obviously, but are we allowed to set up a log/blog for DND arts and crafts?

I ask this because I have been building some wicked terrain, and dungeons set ups after splurging at hobby lobby last month. I have made a docen pieces so far from old ruins to waterfall scenes from houses to plant life.

My fiance started playing about a year ago, in my homebrew campaign we are still playing weekly, and she has been making miniature clay figures for half a decade or so, lately she makes props for my dungeons, creatures from monster manuals, and even little PC minis. Now she is working on a legit dragon head that is being applied on a trophy mount to hang on the wall of our dungeon room. (Yes. Dungeon room. We and the other players have all been investing into it over the last few months and its pretty awesome so far)

Anyways, we have all this stuff now. Everyone who sees the creations whether they play or not love what we do, and I want to share it, maybe get requests and soon be selling stuff online (via facebook or something) but I feel that Obsidian Portal would be an awesome place to get critiqued and get advice/request etc.

So can I set up a campaign page (quick example: dungeons and crafting) and set up adventure logs of stuff we are making as they get completed, which would be fairly regularly, we get quite a bit done in a short time.

So, what do I have to do to regain access to my account? I've been locked out for about two weeks now, and am about to have a second game where I can't access my wiki (which we use during the session). I'm a little frustrated with administration. I realize the automated system is glitching and not sending out emails, but how about a manual password reset? Or something? Anything? I've got a support ticket up but can't even post on my support ticket. I repeatedly try and nothing happens. It says something about my message being posted shortly, but it never posts. I feel uncertain that my problem is even being addressed because of the lack of communication.

In case the context clues aren't clear, I requested a password reset because I was locked out of my account, and am not receiving the emails with the new password. Since this site makes the stupid mistake of generating a new password on request click, rather than when clicking the link sent to you through an email, the password is generated even if an email is never received. That's where I'm at. The issue with the poorly answered and unrespondable support tickets is secondary and separate. I just want access to my wiki.

I'm trying to move _just the text_ of a "wiki page title":https://eidl.obsidianportal.com/wikis/main-page... if I shift the whole box, it jacks up backgrounds. But the letters are a bit too left shifted for what I'm trying to achieve. I haven't been successful trying things like ".wiki-page-name.title p" and ".wiki-page-name.title h2"

Any ideas?

Hi guys... I haven't seen or heard much said about this, and I notice most people seem to have turned their forums off (e.g., hidden them). But, I thought I would ask the question -- has anyone done any customization within their campaign forums to make them less "modern" looking? I'm guessing there's not a lot available, but I thought I would ask at least. If you have done some mods, care to share?
Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I'm fairly new to CSS but learning as I build my newest campaign. I have a question about the sidebar: I know I can completely eliminate it, and have found how to eliminate the stream. But I'd like to keep the GM / Player info and the "fans" section while removing the google map or removing the "REMOTE!" listing.

Does anyone have an idea how to do that??

Thanks!

Hey guys/gals,

Im a complete noob when it comes to css/textiles and im learning as i go along. Iv received a butt load of help from various posts and the community here is pretty amazing. But im in need cause im going crazy.

So i have made a middle piece, top piece and bottom piece of some parchment paper and im attempting to code it so it generates on everything content box wise. However for some odd reason the top/bottom of my boxes have this lower res version of the texture im using.
I thought at first its my art reapting on itself and just being a bit naff but that isnt the case where there is a load of it repeated, https://tmits.obsidianportal.com/characters/kobold. As you can see on that page, the paper repeats quite nicely its just the top and bottom that for some reason loads at a lower res as if another image is generating over the top.

My question is have i accidently duplicated my parchment generation or done something wrong here:

WIKI: Really no links within pages? Really?

Yeah, I already read the Help item stating that you cannot yet link to a specific section within a Wiki page. The only suggested workaround was to use HTML "name=" tags instead. This somewhat ruins the usefulness of such things as glossaries or lists of minor items that you don't want to have clogging up the works with their own wiki pages. Also prevents the handy content list at the top of a page with links to sections within the page.

Is there really no better work-around figured out yet, allowing sections of a page to be labeled and referenced in links? If somebody has a better method, please share!

If there really is none now, is it reasonably near the top of the priority list to fix?

Never saw a wiki that wouldn't allow this, including (IIRC) the ones here at OP a few years ago when I was working on them as a player fleshing out details for the GM.

Not an expert on custom stuff on here, is there anyway to embed a google doc?

Wanted to try and embed a google sheet that is used to calculate building costs (based off the magical medieval society books from 3.5). I can always link it but thought it might be nice to have it embedded in the same wiki entry for players as any other details for managing their recently granted land.

Using the embed code from google docs itself seems to do nothing (neither will embed media of course), wasn't sure if there was a trick or easy way I was missing.
