I have created a dynamic character sheet for a game I'm part of and I'd like to submit it to test with our campaign. Since I'm new to the community, I don't know if submitting an alpha version to test with our group is considered a social faux pas here. Currently I've got the various noble houses in my game sorted by using different unicode whitespace charactres in front of their names. That works fine for keeping things in order, but what I'd really like to do is have a custom border colour for each group, to make the distinction more obvious. Well I've learned that I could list my game as online, but when I looked around the site for options to filter for online games there was none.
I came back after two years and there is still no way for me to join or have people join an online game without an invitation.
What is going on?
I remember the older version of the site was a lot easier to navigate, the filter function was also more powerful. The current layout simplifies things too much and feels like it would work better on a touch pad, except for the fact that it doesn't feel intuitive to navigate around the site. There was the ability to distinguish between online and offline games, you could also see if a game was being planned and was looking for players.
I also don't like the fact that when I get onto the site, it opens on my campaign page instead of some central front page with everything listed on it.

I am currently using this site to build a World setting for my games and I am currently tying to set up a page to be used as a sort of archive of history for the worlds past. Is there some code I can add so that its not visible on phones/tablets? or can I change the 'z' axis setting so it sits behind the central text on mobiles? (FYI its already at "...z index:-100;..." in the CCS code for the Nav box)

I am a DM for a D&D 4th edition group and I am new to obsidian portal. Reading through some of the campaigns I have seen on this site, I have been impressed with the level of player participation, i.e. writing and updating character logs, bios and 'campfire talk'. I made a wiki for our campaign on wikia.com before I knew this website existed. I put a lot of work into it and was frustrated with the lack of participation from my players.

I created a log with a summary of what happened every session along with a preview of what was going to happen next session, with the hope that my players would go to the site to get a heads up on what might happen, and then read the log so that they may actually remember what they did last session. I also tried giving players who miss a session an EXP reward for coming up with a good story of what their character was doing during the missed session, hoping that that would be another incentive to keep up with what was going on.

I want the campaign to be everyone's story and not just what I want it to be, so I don't want to deliver ultimatums. Do you guys have any tips or suggestions? Also if you are taking the time to respond to this, I would also be interested to know what your opinion is of the D&D 4th ed. character creator on the wizards website.
