I've created a campaign. We've been playing it for some times and I have started creating another campaign that takes places in the _same area_ as in the first one, but several hundred years later. I've created a "character" of this area for people to learn more of it.

So I would like to use this same "character" in my second campaign. Is there any way to link it so the two campaigns would be working in cohesion with another?

Hello again! Nonsense coder at work, again.

I'm working on developing (yet again) some other piece of rediculousitude, and I'd like some help streamlining my html.

I've cobbled this together from memory, so it needs a bit of tightening up, and I don't have the brain for it right now. I'm trying to generate a "file folder" feel for various projects that I've got cooking in my head. I have the images (mostly - not entirely happy with the look, but the code is the important one right now...)
I'm trying to make this easy for players to edit (also me, if I forget things). I also need to annotate it properly, but, well, that's simple enough...

My initial thought is to, instead of making it three alternating images, perhaps combine the images into one (with an asthetically pleasing alternating pattern), have it set on repeat to go down the page (getting it to loop properly would be tricky, but doable, I suppose - the self-overlapping thing would be a pain in the butt.), and then have the final folder close out with an image bottom (Full folder). That way the links could just be a block of text unto themselves, resting in the div proper, and could be positioned to encompass whole tabs instead of the links. My code-fu is lacking today. Any advice?

So, I've decided to play around with the idea of achievements in the face-to-face Shadowrun game I'm starting. I've gone to the TF2 Achievement Generator "website":http://www.teamfortress2.fr/achievements.php?eng and made a somewhat lengthy list for the players to see. I've also included a few hidden ones, mainly relating to things that can happen at a session, but aren't related to the game itself. (Things like paralyzing the whole group with a joke.)

If you're curious, take a look at "this":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/reality-6-0/wikis/achievements page of my wiki to see the public list. Feel free to suggest others; if you can point out an appropriate image from the generator, that'll help too.

I'm not sure yet if I'm going to include any sort of in-game benefits for these, like Karma awards or other bonuses. I don't want these to be exploited if I do, so any suggestions in that regard would be very helpful.

I have tried to emulate what those forums are doing, but the code doesn't seem to translate to Textile very well (I am guessing), even though it looks like HTML to me.
I CAN use the highlight spoiler method, but if I have large blocks of text, that won't do:
So my current campaign will be ending very soon and while we're not sure what is happening afterwards I thought I'd thorw some stuff up for a new campaign just in case. I'm trying to comd up with a page format before I put in a ton of work and then have to go through and update each page.

Here's my question, it relates to "this page":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/the-white-wastes-of-aultha/wikis/format

Is there a way I can make the border centered? I figured out how to shorten it, but it aligns left. I have tried various combinations of align and center and alignment and middle and things like that to no avail. Most of my code has been pick pocketed from others, but I am a little confident that I know what I'm doing. Here's what I have so far:

Several months ago I put our campaign up on the Portal. After talking to Paizo, I had to lock the site down to limit access to only my players as I am using artwork and material on the site that is taken directly out of the Pathfinder Adventure Paths (Pictures, and paragraphs). I would love to maintain the integrity of the site and open it up for public access, as my players and I are proud of what we have created of the past 9 months and our campaign is only half over.

My question then is this; is there a way to open the site for public viewing, but protect some pages (links) that only the players have access to in order to meet the conditions that Paizo Publishing has asked of me in using their copyright materials?

I've been trying to get Hamachilogmein to work but for some reason every time I try to connect I get a message saying my log in has been denied...

I've tried reinstalling and making an account to attach it to but it doesn't seem to be working and I know could fiddle with the settings but I am clueless as to what I would be doing with that I decided against that option..
Thanks in advance!!

Hello everyone. I am new to Obsidian Portal and so far I love it. But here is my question, what are the different memberships? Right now I am a Acendant and it says that next billing cycle will be in December. I haven't signed up for any membership that I know of. Does this mean that after this timeframe is up, I wont be able to do all the things that I can do now? I tried to search around the site to figure this out but came up empty handed. Any help here would be great. Thank you!

Hey all,

I know many of you are super busy getting geared up for your new game (sounds like it'll be fun, keep us all up to date on it's progress) but I could use a hand.

I'm at the point where I'm sick of just adding more and more information to my site (okay, technically it's not mine, but I call it mine, as I'm the one working on it currently, our site GM has been stupid busy pretty much since he introduced me to the site) and it's time to start making it attractive/cooler. My coding skills are not so advanced, so I was hoping that you guys could hook me up with some basics. I already grabbed a stat block chunk of code from Gnunn (thanks again) to cool up my character pages, but what I'd really like next is some form of button background so that links are not just simply the words themselves, but have some sort of shape or aesthetic. Flags, or pennants, or scrolls, or something...would be cool.

Thanks in advance.
