So another mate of mine, thank god not the 1 I've mentioned a lot of times but the tables he used were made by the 1 I've mentioned several times, used Traveller versions of this guys family history tables

The thing is that 1 Pc ended up being the sole heir of The Greatest Pirate King in history that thanks to growing his own Anagthics terrorized The Imperium for close to 1,800 years, and here's the  biggest challenge busters that the things The Pcs starts with will pose to a campaign

I did manage to cheer him up, but ended up giving him a bad idea, by pointing out that it could have been far worse, he said how, I said it could have been in A Drinax campaign, and the thought of A Group in A Drinax Campaign startinh start The Drinax Campaign with more then 2.6 times the amount of stuff that most people finish The Drinax Campaign with

1st. A Fleet of 535 Ships, 39 of which mass more then 30,000 tons and 10 of those things are capital ships

2nd. 3 Class B Pirate Starports that can each build ships massing up to 2,000 tons, they all have computers that hold the schematics, blueprints, technical read outs and designs for 7 custom build pirate ships that were competed but not even 1 was ever made, they actually have the materials, components, parts and facilities to build 9 of each of those 7 types and the computers even have The Blueprints for A Custom made 4,500 ton Pirate Cruiser and every 3rd year they give the owner 1D3+1x100 tons of free ships

3rd. Assorted stuff amounting to more then Cr 7,6 billion and loot worth almost Cr 1.4 Billion as well as just over 932,800 tons of assorted cargoes

4th. A Portfolio worth almost Cr 8.4 billion that combined with his other earnings, most of which are from his 3 Private Pirate Starports, means that even after paying A Private Army many thousands strong he still gets a profit of Cr 310,660 a month

5th. His Private Army that's many thousands strong that consists of 1 Regiment, 1 Platoon and 1 Squad of Heavy Assault Soldiers, 2 Companies and 2 Platoons of Support staff, 2 Companies, 1 Platoon and 2 Squads of Scouts, 2 platoons and 2 squads of very  highly trained surgeons, 1 Platoon and 2 Squads of Tanks, 1 Platoon and 2 Squad's of Aircraft and 1 Platoon and 1 Squad of Artillery

So 

They will soon be starting A 1e DAD Campaign, The GM made a lot of very detailed tables and charts to determine A Pcs background and Kai/The Cleric ended up with a unique.

The question my mate/The GM, has is how would A Pc that's a former slave react when he realize's that he's his homelands rightful king, that when he was 4 months old his homeland lost a war and that to protect him from the victorious invaders, who because of the actions of The Pcs father actually were justified in invading and conquering The Pcs homeland, he was swapped with a slave, which is why he spend 12 years, 4 months as a slave

Brief summary

Basically he's the crown prince and rightful king of a country, before he was even 5 months old his homeland lost a war, and as the countries crown prince he would have been put to death but by sheer luck 1 of the royal families slaves had 2 kids, that were also slave's, that were the same age, 1 was a boy that bore a uncanny resemblance to the crown prince, which allowed the chancellor to protect the 4 month old crown prince by swapping him for a 4 month old slave that looked enough like the crown prince for it to work

Full summary

A country is invaded, its clear that its going to lose, the kings 4 month old grandson is the last living member of the royal line

By sheer chance 1 of the royal families slaves has 2 4 month old children, 1’s a girl and the others a sickly boy that will be dead in less then a week who by sheer chance looks enough like the crown prince for their to be 1 chance of saving the crown prince, which is to swap him for a slave that's the same age that looks enough like the crown prince for their to be a chance tha it may work

So in a last ditch attempt to save the crown prince they swap the 4 month old crown prince for the 4 month old slave that bears a strong enough resemblance to him that it could work

It works, I mean did you really think it wouldn’t?, I mean seriously? what villain in their right mind would think a country would protect the 4 month old crown prince by swapping him with A 4 month old slave?

Luckily after the countries conquered all slaves of that country are given to owners from the conquering country, by sheer luck most of them end up with kind owners

The crown prince, who is now A Slave due to the fact that for his own safety he was swapped with a slave, his surrogate slave mother, that everyone thinks is his mother, and his surrogate slave sister, that everyone thinks is his sister, end up with a kinder owner then most

The best bit is that by the time their both 12 years, 8 months old, the crown prince, who is, now was a slave, that for his own safety was swapped with a slave and his surrogate slave sister, that everyone thinks is his sister, have been freed

They are even being paid to be friends, companions and playmates to the 10 year old Baroness that acquired them after her father, their previous owner, died but by the time she inherited them she liked them enough to free them

The Basic idea is that A idea for A Campaign in which A Creature, A Succubus to be exact, which would normally be a recurring minor Villain end up unwillingly being A Long-Term loyal ally of with The Pcs

The reason?, all she'll say, at least until she knows they can be trusted, is that she and they have a mutual enemy, she can't defeat it without them, they can't defeat it without her and to destroy it she and they must work together

So what will it be?, refuse to work with me and know that your pride caused, well I'm not saying yet, or work with A Succubus, and if we succeed then you 5, or at least the survivors, will be guaranteed a place in history

2 thoughts are as follows

The 1st is to make it clear that she doesn't like this, she doesn't like being here, that if she had a choice she's be anywhere but here, but her overlord says that for some reason she's the Deamon that that's she's the only Deamon that's young enough, in Deamon Terms, to bypass The Ancient Evils Defences that also has enough power to have a chance of defeating it and we know that she knows that she can't defeat The Monster without The Pcs, that they can't defeat it without her and to destroy it she and they must work together

The 2nd is to make it so that in Succubus Terms she's the equivalent of A 9 month old Baby, which means she's between 1,600 years old. After all I know my players well enough to know that making it so that in Succubus Terms she's the equivalent of A 9 month old Baby  is the only way to ensure they don't kill her

After all I know that they would kill A Succubus that in Succubus Terms she's the equivalent of A 1 ear old Baby, meaning roughly 2,100 years old, but I also know that they wouldn't kill A Succubus that in Succubus Terms she's the equivalent of A 9 month old Baby, meaning roughly 1,600 years old

Choice 1 is they refuse to work together with A Chaotic Evil uccubus, which means they can stop A Ancient Evil and the let A Ancient Evil destroy The World

Choice 2 they decide that working together with A Chaotic Evil Succubus is worth it, after all its that or let the Ancient Evil destroy The World

Not much of a choice, besides this is the chance of hundreds of life times, I mean if needed she will grant a few tiny favors and these favors won't cost 1 or more Pcs their souls

Not to mention whenever A Pc is willing she will sleep with him, naturally she will drain Mana but no matter how much she drains she will restore and doing this won't cost 1 or more Pcs their souls

1 thing I like is that to for A Civilian that wants to immigrate to Drinax that owns any Military Ship they must either give it to The Navy of the planet their settling on

On the bright side they must give you its market value and every year you get paid the same salary its captain does, or grant you the right to control it in defence of the planet you settled on, either way you get A Captains Yearly Wage

Luckily as long as the person that gives you permission has the right to they don't even have to be in the same sector as the planet the owners now living on

Just remembered something. Any Noble that grants permission for ordinary people to own A Drinax Warship doesn't have to grant the same people permission to own A Weaker Ship

For example A Sub Sector Duke could grant A Ordinary permission to own A 800 ton Wyvern Mark 2 but that doesn't mean he has to give permission for the same person to own A 200 ton Harrier Mark 2

But that was back in 1,997 and the only thing I remember is the name and that The Pcs can rescue a kid who uncle is A Very Minor Duke and that The Adventure says that The Very Minor Duke will grant any reward that he thinks reasonable

The GM hasn't actually said told me or his player, but I've heard enough about him to know exactly what he/The GM is planning

He's planning on having my mate ask that his Pc whose A Future King, as well as A Thief, ask The Very Minor Duke for his daughters hand in marriage and I know that Thr GM he will have The Very Minor Duke gladly agree that allowing his daughter to marry A Future King is the most reasonable thing he's ever heard

I've heard enough about The GM to know that its very likely that The GM will have The Very Minor Duke think to himself "I was the 1 offering to grant any reasonable request but my daughter marrying A Future King?, that seems like I'm getting the reward rather then the 1 giving the reward"

After all if he refuse's then his family will, depending on gender, continue to be only(?) be Very Minor Duke's and Duchess for centuries, likely longer, but by allowing his daughter to marry A Future King he will day be The Father in law to A King, his daughter will be a queen, admittingly by marriage but she will still be a queen, and any grand children she gives him will be carry the royal blood of their fathers country

So when, not if, they do, Secret Of The Slaver's Stockade and, when not, if The Pcs rescue The Duke's Nephew, will The Duke allow his daughter marry A Future King despite the fact that The Future King is also A Thief or will he refuse to let his daughter marry A Thief despite the fact that The Thieves also A Future King, and if he does that then he's letting his personal pride get in the way of the chance of the Millenium?

Basically 23 years ago The King, who at the time was The Crown Prince, had A 1-night Stand with A Commoner, the result was A Child and even though The King, who at the time was The Crown Prince, refused to acknowledge her as his illegitimate daughter he bought the mothers silence by arranging for her to save his life, and in return he made his illegitimate daughter A Senior Baroness before she was even born, naturally it was many years before she started ruling

22 years after the girls birth, which is 8 years after the Baroness her mother died and she officially became A 14 year old Senior Baroness, whilst on A DAD Version of A Summer Holiday, The Dreams words not mine, The 22 year old Senior Baroness meets and falls in love with The 25 year old Crown Prince of A Neighboring Country, who also falls in love with her and the 2 become engaded

Her father/who is her homelands King, finds out that his illegitimate 22 year old Daughter is engaded to a 25 year old who will 1 day rule A Neighboring Country and he decides that as soon as she's married he will acknowledge her as his illegitimate and legitimize her claim to the/his throne

But make no mistake her father/who is her homelands King, isn't doing this out of love, he never loved her and he only made her A Senior Baroness that ruled A Large Barony because he'd rather do that then risk the scandal that would have been caused if word got out

So he only acknowledges her as his illegitimate daughter and legitimize her claim to the/his throne because by doing so he ensures that her oldest child/his oldest grandchild, will 1 day inherit the thrones of 2 countries that are both very large, very powerful and very powerful

So how mean is the king when he only acknowledgedes her as his illegitimate daughter after she marries A Future King? and even then he only does it to ensure that her oldest child/his oldest grandchild, will 1 day inherit the thrones of  2 countries that are both very large, very powerful and very powerful
