HOT OFF THE PRESS!!! Rise of the Dead for CotM
May 2013
I'll throw my vote in for Rise of the Dead! Though, Shadows over New York is an incredibly worthy campaign as well and would be very deserving of a win.

CSS not allowed
May 2013

Ooooh, I'd seen the "script" rejection before, but it didn't occur to me that's why it was bouncing "description" too. Man. That's a pretty aggressive filter. Thanks for pointing that out, saethone.

Hmm. Something about "description-header" is causing OP to read the code as being javascript or something. I pulled that part out and it runs just fine. Not sure what's up... I'll investigate some more, but I can't make any promises. EDIT: Look…

No problem killervp! I've borrowed enough code around here myself. Plus, it's really fun to figure out these CSS puzzles. :)

Nellshini, it's not hard at all. I've tried it on a couple of our campaigns that have different looking navbars and it doesn't require much work at all. :)

Changing link on Tab Nav Bar
May 2013
edited May 2013
Nellshini, it turns out it's actually pretty easy to change the text after all -- though you still can't change the link. check out this "thread":http://forums.obsidianportal.com/comments.php?DiscussionID=2985&page=1#Item_7

Langy, yeah, the display:none was my first try too, but it makes the entire element, including the :before, not visible. I even tinkered with giving the :before a display:inline-block property just to see, but it didn't work.

Ah okay. I tested it out on my test site so I had some nonstandard tabs to start with. Worked great there, but definitely an oversight on my part. Thanks for the quick assist! Looks like this code might require some user tweaking depending on th…

@Kallak, what was the issue? I didn't run into any problems when I tested it. I'm curious what I missed! And thank you! :)

Langy, it may depend on what element you put the content tag into. When I tried to put it in .item-metadata .author, it didn't do anything. But in the .author:before pseudo element, it worked fine. But the :before pseudo-element works fine with l…

Hmmm.... I wonder if it can be done with the content tag? maybe .item-metadata .author span.label {content: "Owner";} I haven't tried this at all, though. I'll have to give it a go in a bit and see what can be done... GOT IT: @.item-metad…

You can also use CSS to remove the default text and replace it with images as the background of the links which would allow you to call things whatever you would like. You can't, however, change where the link goes.

SkidAce, I'm not *sure* it's what they mean, but I know there was the option to tack on an extra $35 to your pledge to gain an additional year of ascendant time. Additional years wouldn't include the bonus months, but it's still a discount from the…

Hmm. That's actually a fun idea for times when the group can't get together. Or even if you're finding that the party is focusing too much on fighting or not getting to do as much roleplaying as one might like. That's pretty cool. :)

Wolfhound, I'm pretty certain IE 10 supports it. Actually it supports a good number of the fun CSS3 stuff -- I was reasonably impressed. Text-shadow can be done in earlier versions of IE using filter:DropShadow(Color=#000000, OffX=1, OffY=1), but …
