OP Community Forum Rules

edited April 2016 in General Discussion
The OP community forums are intended as a venue to allow users to assist each other with their campaigns, find players, and build amazing worlds. Any posts or members which do not contribute to the overall health of the community will be removed and/or banned. The forums are strictly moderated for content. Moderators have the final say. Please think before you post.

Unwelcome Content
While OP generally provides a lot of leeway in what content is acceptable, here are some guidelines for content that is not. Please keep in mind the spirit & intent in which posts are written, and know that looking for loopholes is a waste of time.

Content is prohibited if it:
- Is spam
- Is illegal
- Is pornography
- Is Hate speech
- Is disparaging to OP, its staff, or it's members
- Encourages unwelcome drama or incites violence
- Threatens, harasses, or bullies or encourages others to do so
- Contains personal or confidential information
- Impersonates someone in a misleading or deceptive manner
- Is obviously intended to circumvent moderation
- Receives complaints from other users

Note on NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content
Content that contains nudity, pornography, or profanity, which a reasonable viewer may not want to be seen accessing in a public or formal setting such as in a workplace should be tagged as NSFW. This includes lewd fantasy campaigns. Please use good judgement.

Prohibited behavior
In addition to not submitting unwelcome content, the following behaviors are prohibited on OP:

- Asking for votes or engaging in vote manipulation
- Breaking OP or doing anything that interferes with normal use of OP
- Creating multiple accounts to evade punishment or avoid restrictions, or inciting others to post on your behalf

We have a variety of subtle and not-so-subtle ways of enforcing our rules, including, but not limited to:

- Asking you nicely to knock it off
- Asking you less nicely
- Temporary or permanent suspension of users
- Removal of privileges from, or adding restrictions to, accounts
- Adding restrictions to our communities, such as adding NSFW tags or Quarantining
- Removal of content
