DM seeking collaboration and advice for story purposes

I am one of those GM's who prefers to focus on the story of a game, especially by taking the meats of player backstory and heaping it back on top of them. I have sometimes even invented whole cities or tribes for the purposes of supporting story given to me by the players themselves.
The purpose of this topic is to try and get the attention of similar "story-fiends" so that I can talk story shop from time to time, and possibly seek advice, or give it.
If anyone has a suggested focus for this topic starting out, or any advice for threads I could take part in, give me a ring or a mail or whatever serves for PM around here.
