everybody know about the 3D-printed-characters Kickstarter? plus, hello all, nice to meet you!

Ok, first thing's first, I am not involved with this Kickstarter in any way. I just think it's a cool idea: "Lovecrafted Games Customizable 3D-printed Miniatures":http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/996367068/lovecrafted-games-customizable-3d-printed-miniatur
Looks pretty sweet, but they'll need a fairly large amount of capital to get going. I wish they'd given more of a price break at the mid-level tiers of backing, but be that as it may, there's the link for interested parties.
As for me, I'm a long-time user, first-time poster, second-year grad student in Ohio. Mostly play dnd 3.5, though I've done a little Deadlands and Mages, too. Big fan of MageKnight, from when Wizkids Games wasn't just branding everything HeroClix. I don't know exactly how intros are usually done on the Portal, but I'll offer some basic stats.
*Favorite System:* D&D 3.5, with homebrewed worlds
*Favorite Class:* Rogue
*Favorite Class that I've never played:* Rogue
*Favorite sourcebook:* Tome of Magic
*Favorite Character played:* Gin (like "Grin" w/out the "r"), a Dwarf Conjurer/Druid/Arcane Hierophant
*Origin of username:* Vognar, my other favorite character, a Raptoran Soulknife
*Current D&D occupation:* DM
*Current real-life occupation:* Paleontology graduate student
*Length of time since my last rp session:* 14...months

You arrive at a very exciting time, just after our very own Kickstarter has been initiated, the effects of which we are told we will see around August.
I am also a big 3.5 fan and LOVECRAFT fan. Our group has recently shifted over to Pathfinder and I think that will be my RPG of choice for the next few years.
You give a great introduction of yourself.
Keep up, keep at it, and let us all know when your own campaign is up and running.
