Hello everyone. I have been away from the site for a bit dealing with various issues. I wanted to let people know that my "Rise of the Dead Campaign":https://rise-of-the-dead.obsidianportal.com/ has ended. We had a great time playing the game for the last year, and I hope people enjoyed reading about our game. I want to thank everyone for their support and kind words.

That said my group has started a new campaign. This time my wife "Kathea":https://www.obsidianportal.com/profile/Kathea is Gming. We are playing a World of Darkness game inspired by the novels of Stephen King. The campaign is called "Hobb's End":https://hobb-s-end.obsidianportal.com/. The website is set up to look like a town webpage and already has a lot of kool information. We have completed three game sessions and so far we have had a blast.

The game starts with our characters as 10 year old kids and will jump time as the game progresses. Besides the "adventure logs":https://hobb-s-end.obsidianportal.com/adventure-log each character is also writing in character journals about our experiences.

Check out our "Characters":https://hobb-s-end.obsidianportal.com/wikis/the-group and our "Character Journals":https://hobb-s-end.obsidianportal.com/wikis/journals

Again, it is too bad that "Rise of the Dead Campaign":https://rise-of-the-dead.obsidianportal.com/ had to end, but time is just not on my side. It's easier to be a player at the moment then a Gm. I will be back in the GM seat as soon as my life calms down a bit.

Thanks,

Kettle

Hey, being a player is great too. One can;t GM ALL the time, right? (Least that's what THEY tell me!)

Rise of the Dead was fun to follow and will be missed. Was an awesome concept and an awesome campaign, and I'm usually NOT a fan of Zombie Apocalypses.

However, good luck with the new campaign and enjoy your time on the other side of the screen

    Hey Kettle

I certainly had some good reads from RISE OF THE DEAD and enjoyed the entries in the NEW PLOT CLUB. I hope you have just as good a time with HOBB's END on the other side of the table. It's healthy to swop roles, I think.

Ya I do enjoy playing, but I always prefer to GM. I have plenty of projects to work on. I am working on a D&D game idea but I'm not sure which edition to use yet. Hobb's End is a fun game so far.

If I were you, I would use Pathfinder over D&D these days.
