How to subscribe to calendar

Hi,

I know this is only peripherally a OP topic, so apologies if posting this is a problem.
I'm using an android phone (Fairphone) without a Google Account. I've tried subscribing to my campaigns calendar using DavDroid as an app, but it can't seem to find the calendar (I can provide a log if needed).

So I was wondering: How are you guys doing it? What's a successful way to subscribe to the OP Calendar, short of google-ifying my life?

    It uses Ical format, so anything that can decipher Ical is my guess- I use the google calendar, as work already has forced it upon me.
