How can I port content from word or google docs to my campaigns?

Specifically with their formatting intact. I only recently elected to start using the obsidian portal. So I have a lot of content already completed including some intricately formatted character sheets and data. So if at all possible I would like to know how I can move that formatted information to the obsidian website.

If you are using the CkEditor you may be able to just copy and paste. You will likely need to view the source and remove tags that google docs uses but obsidian portal doesn't like thread.

At least that has been my experience when testing out the importing google docs.

The other option is linking to the google docs or uploading them as embedded media.
