How do I subscribe to ascendant?

This might sound like a dumb question, but I can't seem to figure this out. When I go to the page to subscribe and click on "choose this plan" for Ascendant, the page simply scrolls down to show me the chart of free vs. ascendant features. No cart, no checkout... nothing. I've tried in both Firefox and Chrome in case it's a browser issue, with the same result.

I want to give Obsidian Portal my money and I can't figure out how. Help?

Looking at my wife's free account, it looks like if you login under your free account then in the upper left corner where it says welcome szthesquid if you click the dropdown and choose upgrade to Ascendant you can then choose the plan you want and it does bring you to a payment page.

That's what I had tried before, and it didn't work, but for some reason it is working now. Strange.
