Oh hai! Been using the site for a little while now, and just now found the forums (turns out a lot of sites have forums lol). I currently game with the crew from the Bear Swarm Podcast (http://www.bearswarm.com/).
As far as gaming history goes, mine is easy. Started playing D&D 3.5 and Shadowrun in college (2004). Played 3.5 for 3 years and in 2007 I got a job at my Local Hobby Shop, Meta-Games (http://mguinc.com/). Once i got the job there I started collecting Roleplaying games. My collection is small but I like it thus far. As far as core books go I currently own:
Houses of the Blooded
D&D 3.5
Burning Wheel
World of Darkness
Werewolf the Foresaken
Vampire the Requiem
Hunter the Vigil
Savage Worlds
Mutants and Masterminds
All Flesh Must be Eaten
Dark Heresy
The Authority
My collection is still growing, as I got Hunter today. I am also working on my own system, but that I won't get into, cause then I would just rant for hours. So far my favorite system is Houses of the Blooded. I really enjoy how every session the plot becomes more thick. You thought everything was going to unravel and then it ties itself back up again and this time in an even more convoluted knot.
Welcome to the Portal! I look forward to hearing about any campaigns you kick off here - I may or may not have the chance to actually read much, but it always makes me happy to hear about more stuff getting started.
