Suppress title on a wiki page

I'm trying to format my campaign, and one obstacle I'm running into is that I'd either like to suppress the title showing up at the top of the page, or else I'd like to be able to format it myself. Looking at some other campaigns, it looks like it can be done, but I don't know how.

Thanks.

    Many of us use custom setups- the best way to get started is check out the invaluable "Unofficial FAQ Page":http://forums.obsidianportal.com/comments.php?DiscussionID=1114&page=1 that I still use regularly. If that does not help, then come on back to the forum with your question! Lots of friendly people to help out here!

    The method I've used is to maneuver an image so that it covers up the title, but you could also utilize a DIV with a background (possibly just a white color) to do so as well.

    @OP/Langy

    I've been wondering this for quite awhile, but since I saw not options I just lived with it. Thanks Langy for mention that because it never crossed my mind.

    Again, there is not a simple key, but many do this- see my above thread.

    killervp: Neither the unofficial FAQ thread nor your own site's appearance templates include a method of hiding or altering the appearance of titles on wiki pages. While both are rather useful, neither actually answers the question asked in this thread.

    I use the same method described by Langy (the cover-up method). I'll post an image with a white background that covers over the default title (I haven't tried the Div method).

    Cheers,

    That is what I ended up doing was creating a long white line so no matter how long the title is it will be covered up. "Example.":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/return-to-the-time-of-troubles/wikis/countries-template I still need to check that it looks right in all browers.

    I agonized with the same problem a long time. I found that the easy way is just to block the title with a white image as mentioned before. Here's a sample of the code I've used:

    Here is what I use:
    ====
    Obviously the relative position will change depending on your banner. This puts a white background over everything- then you can add whatever you want on top of it. Finish the page with a close div and a close div class. This is in my "backgrounds section":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/a-god-rebuilt/wikis/background-code
