  If you create a link with brackets to a non-existing page, it will open the create page dialog.
  
  Like if the page "New York" didn't exist, then [[New York]] would open the page to create one.

  SkidAce, I meant opened a new web page or a new tab, not a new wiki page.
  
  I have a few links inside the wiki that link to pages OUTSIDE the wiki and I want them to open to new tabs.

  If you have links to outside the wiki, can't you just do: My Link?
  Does that not work? I haven't actually tried it, I admit.

  madartiste, that was the first thing I tried actually with no luck. It shows a link, but for me at least it is not clickabale.

  Hmm, unclickable? I'm not sure what's causing that behavior. I tried it myself and the link worked, though it didn't open in a new window. I'm wondering if OP might strip the target code out or something. You can click the link when you don't have the target="_blank" in the link code, right?

  Correct, minus the target="_blank" it work.

  That's really odd, Revel. The link was still clickable when I tried it, even though it didn't open in a new window. I'm afraid I don't know why yours isn't working. Hopefully someone better than me can figure it out.
