There were going to be codpieces, but I decided that was anachronistic.
In all seriousness though, we did discuss this somewhat. We were worried that folks may become "fatigued" after nominating their favorite campaigns a few times and not seeing it win. This is definitely going to happen as there have been quite a few campaigns in the mix so far, and only one can win each month. I hope people aren't discouraged by this, as it really is a competition among some of the best campaigns on OP. A bit like competing in the Olympics - even if you don't medal, you're still among the best athletes in the world!
Yes, I just compared COTM to the Olympics...
So, everyone, please nominate, and I shall continue to make favorable comparisons between you/your nominees and powerful, toned physiques!
I think it's time we all started plunging into the darker corners of OP and shedding some light on campaigns otherwise unseen.
Perhaps CotM should become F(eatured)CotM in cases like this?
Oh, I was just under the assumption that once I made recommendations and they didn't win, they just rolled over to the next month or something. I'll gladly keep fighting the good fight, my bad. Well it's SXSW here in Austin, so I'm swamped, but let me try to get some suggestions in!

The wars of man are nothing to the wars of Gods.
"Realm of the Six Gods":https://terrasia.obsidianportal.com/
Okay to get started here is my short list, and the arguments for them:
"Blood and Bourbon":https://blood-and-bourbon.obsidianportal.com/ What B&B does right is mood. There's no fancy CSS just straight, indepth material, no frills. But oh does that material sing! Caulder_R really makes sure you feel how dark the world of darkness is. There's hundreds of characters and each gets a good write-up. I'm personally just a huge fan of New Orleans, and Voodoo but this campaign will make you a fan too, if you aren't one already. I do wish that Caulder_R didn't do the whole copy pasta thing in the journals. (Though I understand how hard it is to write up a journal entry, time is precious for a GM) But the rping that is copy pasted is well done, so I don't mind reading it at all.
"Adoraith":https://adoraith-echoes-of-epirus.obsidianportal.com/ is what my childhood dreams are made of. Insane darkness and violence wrapped in a high fantasy setting. Literally the front page includes the line " Bodies were still raining down, some exploding against the cobblestone roads spraying their festering filth all directions." Hell, that is awesome. Like if that doesn't get you excited to play an rpg idk what will. I love the way the wiki is laid out (and at some point hope to have my own wiki at this level) and it has a fair amount of depth. The journals are a fun read too. My only qualm with this one is that pages are of varying qualities, some have great layouts and and design, while some look like they belong to a new OP campaign. But that is hardly a complaint, being as even my own campaign does that. It's impossible to fill every page with content.
"Mysteria":https://mysteria.obsidianportal.com/ Hmm... where do I start with Mysteria? I love it, that would be a good place to start. A good campaign is a good campaign, and Mysteria is a good campaign. I love the band that makes up the party. The journals (while a little short) are funny and a fun read. Overall the campaign is something I really enjoy. My only gripe with Mysteria is I wish there was a little more cohesiveness in the design, it's very haphazard with different styles all over. But that my inner graphic designer griping.
I hope this helps!

And Bortas I 100% agree with you on Alex's DA Requiem. More like 1000% with you. But with it on Hiatus until he comes back I'm not sure if it's up for COTM.
"The Miskatonic Society":https://miskatonic-society.obsidianportal.com/ is great style, through and through, solid and pleasant to read. The wiki is small, and I wish there was more depth here for sure, but what's there is just well laid-out. The journals are not journals at all but case files. In fact it show cases what frustrates me most in the campaign, I want to know more. Show me more! But it's a good sign that a campaign can draw me in enough to demand more.
Previous nominations that did not win are still looked at but there is no harm in renewed nomination, which also keeps Campaigns alive in the memory for all.
As we go from month to month, it will be harder and harder to keep all the runners up clearly at the forefront of the mind, so extra reminders are always welcome and can do the nominated campaign no harm at all.

I second HumAnnoyd's "The Infinite Empire":https://fate-accelerated-star-wars-the-infinite-empire.obsidianportal.com/ I apologize that I have a tendency to glaze over the Star Wars campaigns, which is a shame because this one is very well done. The pages are really well done. The Journals are very well written and keep me interested. And quite frankly the wiki is gorgeous. Keep up the good work HumAnnoyed. (I do think the logo needs to be less pixalated as my gripe)
I ma going to invite you to our campaign temporarily killervp, I want you to see the mass of info we update at least every two or three days. Plus the battle maps etc. Its just to much work to duplicate as an adventure log at the moment, but we are discussing it.

I know that not all of the pages are perfect but I must admit that I am a victim of my own enthusiasm. For the last several months I have been playing with different ways of building 3D terrain that is cheap, quick to assemble, and most importantly re-usable. I have settled on constructing everything out of card stock to save money and while its not quick to make the initially construction, I can modify it in anyway i see fit to re-use in future adventures. The initial investment of time to construct the sets I want is enormous which means less time for the website, but the payoff for the game should be equally impressive.
I also run two Adventure League games at my local game store once a week so I am pretty stretched thin but I am deeply honored to simply be nominated.
thanks again

Sorry MdBLimited- you cannot win CotM twice with the same campaign- but for those that have never seen it, you really should check out the awesome "Myth Realm Legacy":https://myyth-realm-legacy.obsidianportal.com/
Myth Realms is an amazing sight, but as has been pointed out, its already won COTM
As for COTY, that is chosen only from the COTM for the year

Any room for an argument for like track and field has an overall athlete award. Someone can wind up in 2nd or 3rd place in every event they're in...but if they're in enough events they can "win" the overall meet regardless of not winning any single event. Just like an MVP can be on a losing team(though usually isn't) because they contributed more than anyone else on either team, their team just didn't also contribute enough.
To a degree it does. I suppose it's just that I don't know all the rules to how these things are figured. I have other comments and questions, but they could be all answered in how this is judged to begin with. The problem with what I brought up is, once a campaign wins, no more "events" to earn more points leading to a weighted point system for later submissions in the year.
So aside from the known and loose:
Nominate current, non-awarded campiagn. Deliberation. Award.

Since we apparently won't be voting on a COTM from among the People's nominations, we shall hold a marvelous ball...
COTM shall go to the attendee wearing the most impressive tights or hoop skirt (bonus points for well-powdered wigs).
