As the topic says, how do I post pictures / images into the forum comments? I've seen a few of you do it lately, and I'd like to be able to do it, too.

Ahh, that is the 'code' command, which allows you to put in things that won't be processed. Essentially, you enclose whatever you want to not be processed with an @, no spaces.
For anyone doing a search in the future for this(shouldn't be needed as the button is right there in the menu field): Textile no longer is usable in this updated version of the forums.
Moving forward, users will be able to upload images to their media library, and those images will be available in both their campaigns as well as the forums. Any uploaded media files will count toward the limit on the account.
As other users have mentioned, at this time you can always link to a URL of an image or video on another server, or a file contained within your media library using HTML.
Integration is not yet completed on the new forums allowing users to upload an image right from the editor. Our goal is to have that done shortly. The current plan is that users will be able to either drag and drop an image right into the editor window and have it auto-upload to their library, or they can click on the image icon and choose an image from their media library- all without having to leave the forums.

2. These forums use "Textile":http://redcloth.org/hobix.com/textile/ formatting.
3. Put an exclamation point ! before and after the URL of the image you want to display, like this:
! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v310/UselessTriviaMan/loldragonz/loldragon002.jpg ! (remove the spaces or it won't work)
Make sense?
