Okay, so I try to save a version of each character at each level. Usually what I would to is to use the print option and save to pdf. When I try that with any of the character sheets on here it does not work, the formatting goes all wonky. I've tried it on Windows Explorer and Google Chrome to the same effect.
Some of my players cannot access the internet so sending them pdfs of the sheets is high priority for me. And advise or the implementation of a fix would be massively appreciated.
And BTW, you folks are doing a bang up job!

The current architecutre/design of the DSTs is what prevents them from printing directly in the browser. We took one swing at fixing this so far, but the hit didn't land. So we need to level some stuff up before we can take another swing at it.
In the mean time, let me know if this janky option for printing Characters will work for you:

I had to look up the meaning of "janky".
Good word!

I just usually get my players to use pdfs of their character sheets and upload them to in their character.
Some upload pdf, some just do an image of an excel sheet or what ever they use to record their character.
For example, a pdf
https://x-com-defiance.obsidianportal.com/characters/midnite
The pdf uses the following code
The reason for the class herolab is just so I can use css to properly size the oembed box without changing other oembed boxes
and an image of the excel sheet one used.

DSTs are nice but there are usually better pdf or excel sheets out there plus this way the main character sheet is still in player control and is using the resources they prefer.

@cgregory That may well end up being the way I jump. Your embed code makes pdfs a lot more attractive for this stuff, thanks!

@cgregory Love it, but can't get it to display properly (no scrolling, only showing part of the front page of the pdf).
Now I did have to enclose the url in full quote not single quotes to get it to display, in case that is part of the issue. Any assistance appreciated!

Do you have a link to one character where you are trying it?
I tried with both single and double quotes and it seemed to work fine with both.

@cgregory even better. I've got them embedding and scrolling, The only thing keeping it from perfection is the initial display, it's only about half of the front page of the sheet as opposed to the single page view you're rocking. For example https://catchmydrift.obsidianportal.com/characters/krysa-teakshanks
Even without that refinement, thanks a lot, this is going to become my standard moving forward!

@cgregory Just wanted to pop in and say thanks once more. The ability to integrate pdfs and the pop out control have been a game changer for my campaign. I am finding a lot of uses and can easily add and display props from the game much more easily.
Cheers from New Orleans!
