Duplicate a campaign
Hello there!
I often need to duplicate a campaign for some reasons like:
- Splitting a gaming group on 2 separate campaigns without having to re-create a new campaign again
- Using a campaign website as a template because I want use it for two or more gaming groups
Do you think it may be possible to add this feature? A simple button for duplicate all the campaign :)

Do you have a Campaign that you want copied right now?
We have an internal tool that we've been working on. It's not even "alpha" at this point as it doesn't copy everything, but it might get you part of the way there. And worst case, if it doesn't turn out like you want, you can just delete the copy.

@Onirim, after taking a look at your (beautiful!) Campaign, I don't think this tool is going to live up to what you're hoping for here, but I went ahead and did the duplicate.
The tool doesn't duplicate the Media Library at all, so all of the images are going to be broken/missing.
Again, if it's more headache than help to fix up the duplicate, just go ahead and delete it.

Thanks! It's just the media library and pictures to add again, so it's not a big deal and It's will be useful I think. Pictures are not the more important things to store in a campaign anyway :)

@Hojou, the feature is in pretty much the same spot. There's a technical hurdle that we haven't solved yet with duplicating the Media Library files and updating the references to point to the duplicates.
Do you have a Campaign you want duplicated? Like we did for Onirim, we can duplicate it for you and then you can just delete it if it's not useful.

Hey lovely people I was wondering where we are with this. I would like to set a campaign in the same world 60 years on and importing the data from the first would save me a wealth of time

The Copy Campaign Tool currently copies:
- Campaign Theme with Fonts
- Campaign Forums with Topics and Posts
- Adventure Logs with Tags and Player Secrets
- Wiki Pages with Tags and Player Secrets
- Characters with Tags and Player Secrets and DST Data
- Items with Tags and Player Secrets
It does NOT copy:
- Calendar (it could, but seems unlikely that a member would want that)
- Media Library
- Maps
Both Media Library and Maps are tied to images/files which is the hurdle that still needs to be vaulted to get those working. So images/files from the Media Library would show as broken in the pages in the Copied Campaign.
If that sounds like it would save you some time, what Campaign do you want Copied? You can always delete it if it turns out to not be helpful for some reason. And it’s super easy for us to make the Copy, so we’re happy to do it if there’s even a tiny chance it might be helpful.
Can I still get a copy of a campaign done by posting here? If so, I have a campaign called Rise of the Runelords Coronavirus Relief that I would like copied. I ran three campaigns off the same wiki but it got confusing when different parties allowed different NPC's to die, so I am looking to separate them.

The new Campaign is in your account as:
“Copy of Rise of the Runelords Coronavirus Relief”
Note that the Custom Background image and Banner image do not copy over, but you can just set those as normal in the Campaign Settings to make them match the original Campaign.
